DOCTOR OF MINISTRY Credits Required; 40 additional credits – 208

The Doctor of Ministry degree requires 40 credits beyond the completion of the Master of Arts in Missions and Theology. In addition, a mandatory doctoral dissertation is needed. The dissertation can be an original written work of 150 pages or come in the form of the creation of a ministry work. The written work should combine the use of textual research and a practical testing of the thesis in real life. Somehow the ministry work or the original written work should add a new perspective to the knowledge and practice of the topic addressed by the thesis. All courses will be Directed Study courses, under the assigned leadership.

The Applied Science courses provide practical application to the Calvary Bible Institute as a learning tract in vocational training. Assigned course will be both instructional and On-The-Job Training. All classes will convene weekly 1:00 – 4:00, Monday – Wednesday, and a Certificate will be given at the end of each semester.

Landscape Horticulture TechnologyThis course begins with the fundamentals of gardening, including how to create and care for all types of plants and flowers, then provides a thorough introduction on all aspects and techniques of professional landscaping.

Automotive TechnologyLearning to troubleshoot, diagnose, identify parts, repair components, and service vehicles.

Carpentry The carpentry program shows you the tools and procedures that are used by construction professionals to complete residential and commercial building projects. You will learn framing techniques, interior and exterior finishing practices as well as some specialty construction elements. The carpentry program provides students with a basic understanding of the materials, tools, and processes used by construction professionals to complete residential and light-commercial building projects.

Plumbing Technology The Plumbing program is designed to increase the knowledge base to give the students an introduction to un-derstand and maintain the residential and commercial plumbing system. Learn to install plumbing fixtures, sinks, bathtubs and toilets.

Electrical TechnologyInvolves Maintenance Work – troubleshooting, testing, fixing and upgrading already installed systems. Wiring new construction.
