Sun Sensitive Fabric Dyes for cotton and silk.Use Sun Dyes to decorate your fabric, using anyfound flattish object such as leaves, twigs, feathers,sea shells or make your own shapes with paperor cardboard. Very easy to use, soft to handle& permanent. Paint the fabric with Sun dye, putyour objects on top and the sun will do the rest!

Colours: Refer colour chart for the following range:Alfalfa, Citrus, Currawong, Flame Red, Galah,Grevillea, Marine, Sage, Sky Blue, Tanbark,Tarragon, Violet and Waratah. Size: 250ml.

INSTRUCTIONS

Not suitable for polyester or polycotton.

To Start:

* Dilute Sun Dye by half with water.

* Lay your fabric on a flat, plastic

covered table in the sun and tape

the edges to secure it.

Next:* With a foam brush or large flat

basting brush, coat your fabric

with diluted Sun Dye

- you can do this using one

or more colours.

* While its still wet, lay your

shapes or objects on the fabric.

* As the fabric dries in the sun,

the shapes will be left as

silhouettes in the colour.

If you use pre dyed fabric, the

base colour will remain and thepainted colour will disappear.

Once the dye has dried, remove

the shapes / objects and iron the

back side of the fabric for 2 to 3

minutes as hot as fabric will allow

to set the colour.

Allow to sit for 24 hours and rinse

well in warm water. Undiluted,

these dyes can also be used

for silk painting.

Gives a raised effect when applied to a surface. When

dry, heat set with an iron to be permanent on fabric.

This cold water fibre reactive dye is

known as the king of the tie dye. Use it for

immersion dyeing, tie dye, batik, airbrush,

garment dyeing, screen printing, splatter

painting & graduation dyeing. Add cold water

to the concentrated dye powder to get vivid

colours. Will dye fabrics such as cotton,silk & rayon. Light colourfast.

INTRUCTIONS:

50 grams of dye to colour 1 kilo of dry fabric.

60 grams salt per 1 litre of water & 10 grams

of Soda Ash per litre of water.

Dye material in cold water.
