Dear Neighbor,
Cameron Energy Alliance is a group of passionate workers, localbusiness owners and individuals in Southwest Louisiana whohave come together in support of the proposed Cameronliquefaction project in Hackberry, Louisiana.
Since its establishment in our region, Cameron LNG has been
a strong community partner – creating jobs, supporting localevents and donating to our community organizations.
The liquefaction project will convert U.S. natural gas into liquid form making it possible to ship to global markets as liquefied natural gas (LNG). The U.S. currently has more than a 100-yearsupply of natural gas, which is enough to meet our needs hereat home as well as those of our trading partners abroad.
Moreover, the project will create thousands of jobs in ourcommunity, support small businesses and help our economy
by reducing our trade deficit. Please join the Cameron Energy Alliance and lend your voicein support as the U.S. Department of Energy and the FederalEnergy Regulatory Commission work to permit this important project. Become a member of our alliance by visiting www.cameronenergyalliance.com.
Thank you for your support!

GENERATING THOUSANDS OF GOOD JOBS
During construction of the liquefaction facilities, more than 1,300
high-paying, on-site jobs will be created over four years. At the peakof construction, the project will employ approximately 3,000 workersand will create hundreds of additional off-site jobs that will have asignificant impact on the economy of our region.
Many small businesses in Southwest Louisiana and the surroundingarea will benefit from the Cameron liquefaction project by providingtransportation, lodging and food services, among others, before, duringand after construction.
Once completed, approximately 130 new full-time jobs will be added
to support the operations and maintenance of the expanded facility. These jobs will stay in the community during the life of the project and provide opportunities in highly skilled trades. This is why our localChamber of Commerce is a member of our Cameron Energy Alliance.
“The Cameron
liquefaction project will
create thousands of much
needed jobs in Southwest
Louisiana.”

MEETING THE DEMAND FOR CLEAN,EFFICIENT ENERGY
Natural gas is in great demand for use in homes, businessesand industry for heating, cooking, generating electricityand manufacturing. Natural gas is also increasingly beingused to fuel heavy-duty vehicles like buses and large trucks.
The increased use of cleaner burning natural gas significantlyreduces the levels of greenhouse gas emitted into our
atmosphere.
The Cameron LNG terminal will add liquefaction facilitiesthat will transform natural gas into liquefied natural gas(LNG) by super-cooling it to make its transport in ships
viable. By transporting LNG, the U.S. will be providingour trading partners with increased access to a source ofclean and reliable energy.
Safety is our top priority
The safety of facility employees and the surroundingcommunity is an important priority to our alliance. As
with the existing Cameron LNG terminal, the proposedexport facility will meet or exceed all industry safety requirements.
“The proposed Cameron
liquefaction project will
provide access to clean-
burning, efficient natural
gas.”— CHUCK KLECKLEY,
LOUISIANA SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE

represent nearly six
billion dollars in
private investment in
our state, and the jobsand benefits will be of
great importance to
Louisiana families.”

STRENGTHENING OUR ECONOMY ANDREDUCING OUR TRADE DEFICIT
Cameron Energy Alliance supports the proposed Cameron liquefactionproject because it will strengthen our economy and help reduce our tradedeficit.
The U.S. International Trade Administration estimates that an LNG
export terminal will generate millions of dollars in new domesticrevenue. In fact, Cameron LNG is expected to process $10.8 billionin natural gas exports annually.
Delivering U.S. natural gas resources to global markets will help reducetrade deficits, strengthen ties with our world partners and help provideprice stability in the energy market.
The liquefaction project will also support small local businesses and create long-term value for the entire sector that supports energy production in the U.S.

More than $1.5 million has been donated by Cameron LNG and employees to help community organizations in ourregion. Cameron LNG:
n Supports local organizations, such as the Cameron Sheriff ’s D.A.R.E program, West Calcasieu Hospital, CoastalPlain Conservancy, Creole Nature Trail, Cameron Council on Aging, among others.
n Partners with the Hackberry Duck-off organization to hold an annual photo and drawing contest withschool-age children that showcases the beauty of the environment of Southwest Louisiana.
n Funds a scholarship program for local students to help educate the leaders of tomorrow.
Cameron LNG is also dedicated to protecting Southwest Louisiana’s environment for future generations. They are workingto protect our unique ecosystems, by:
nCreating more than 100 acres of new wetlands during construction of the receipt facility and creating hundredsmore with the construction of the export facility.
n Partnering with Ducks Unlimited, Cameron LNG restored over 900 acres of eroded marshlands in Cameron Parish.By adding terraces and vegetation to Black Lake, wave energy was reduced and water clarity improved, creatingadditional waterfowl habitats that contribute to a healthier ecosystem and help protect the area during storms.
Giving back to the community“Cameron LNG is more than just an energy facility, it’s a group of local highly-skilledpeople that live in our community and are committed to serving as trueneighborhood partners in Southwest Louisiana by contributing their time andresources to better our community.”
