Welcome, Class of 2026 Greetings Parents, Guardians, & Scholars, The Sixth Grade teachers would like to welcome you and your child to our team. We are looking forward to a positive and productive school year. With you as an important member of this educational team, your child will be given the opportunity to move forward in his/her academic program. Thus, we have high expectations and will work diligently to help our students reach their highest potential. Our school year has been off to a great start; allow us, first, to welcome you to our 6th Grade Weekly Newsletter for the graduating class of 2026! Not only do we look forward to an exceptional year in each course, but we look forward to continuing the trend of excellence here at Camp Creek!

i-Ready Instruction: i-Ready Instruction provides students with lessons based on their individual skill level and needs, so your child can learn at a pace that is just right for them. These lessons are fun and interactive to keep your child engaged as they learn. Our iReady lessons will serve as homework Monday-Thursday’s, on the iReady platform-in addition to any other assignments given.

Things to Note: ● Parents, many have
expressed their scholars’ need for a snack in the latter of the day- please send a snack. Their snack attack will take place in their 3rd block class (1-2:30).
● Parents, please encourage your scholar to remain in uniform Monday-Friday!
● Parents, USA TestPrep will be our resources utilized to support at home learning.
Things to Note: Parents, as we approach the upcoming holidays, candy, desserts, baked goods (store-bought or homemade), or other edible items are not to be sold or distributed during school hours. Students who do not adhere to this expectation are subject to disciplinary action for insubordination and all food items will be confiscated. Please discuss this expectation and possible consequences with your student(s). This measure will help us maintain a safe environment for all students. You can help us protect your student(s) by requesting that they not eat anything given to them by another person, anything that they have not brought from your home or anything not in its original sealed package. Thank you for your continued partnership in keeping all of our students safe at school!
