Camp Exclamation Point, Inc. (CAMP!) is a Vermont-based non-profit organization that gives over 110 children from rural Vermont communities a week-long residential summer camp experience. Many of our campers’ families are involved with the agriculture, dairy or logging industries within the state and often relocate to follow seasonal work. CAMP! was founded in 1991, when the Vermont Migrant Education Program discontinued the original camp. Several staff members were committed however, in providing continuity for the children with whom they had been working with and created CAMP! as a way to meet that need. Staff recognized that the summer experience made an important difference in these children’s lives and provided them with opportunities otherwise inaccessible to them and their families. In addition, we also offer older campers a Teen Leadership Program (TLP), providing the opportunity to develop teamwork and leadership skills, while building confidence and self-esteem.

Camp! History

Managing Director Message As we look ahead to our 25th camping season, I take a moment to reflect on the countless lives that we have positively influenced over the years, some of whom have joined us once again as staff members, while some of our core staff have been with us every year since the beginning. This past summer, we actually held camp at a completely different place, Camp Farnsworth in Thetford, VT. We have been fortunate enough to forge a special partnership with the Girl Scouts of the Green and White Moun-tains, who have welcomed us with open arms and we are extremely grateful for all their help and support. Our Staff did a fantastic job adjusting to the new surroundings and providing another great week of summer camp memories for our campers. Our program would not be possible without the support of our generous donors and the tireless efforts of our volunteers who make it all possible. Together, we are helping to provide consistency in an uncertain world for many of our campers and look forward to your continued support in the future. On behalf of our Staff, Board of Directors and the Campers we serve, thank you for all you do in making CAMP! such a magical place for our kids.

Mission Statement
