Welcome. Once again Chabad of Longmont and Chabad of NW Metro Denver have teamed together to form a joint

summer day camp called Camp Gan Israel (CGI) of the Rockies.CGI of the Rockies is like dozens of specialty camps all rolled into one.

Sports. Art. Science. Magic. You name it, we’ve got it. We enjoy a well-earnedreputation as a trendsetter.

We work hard to incorporate innovative ideas, creative programs, and brand new activities to make CGI of the Rockies the absolute BEST summer program available ANYWHERE!

Our camp is the summer home for the Front Range’s finest coaches andinstructors. They’ll work with your child to learn new skills, broaden their horizons, and develop self-esteem. Together, they’ll turn each day into anadventure. In a single day, your child could learn a how to fly a model rocket,create a ceramic masterpiece, and take a cooking lesson. All while enjoying lots of stories, songs, making new friendships, and experiencing the joy of their Jewish heritage.

Our Mini Gan Izzy division offers a wonderful opportunity for youngsters, ages 3 & 4, to have their firstexperience in a summer camp. Directed by Shayna Borenstein, an experienced preschool teacher, thechildren are guided in organized activities, play & social skills in a fully equipped preschool classroomand outdoor playground. Jewish songs and crafts will be part of our fun and exciting schedule. Specialvisitors and instructors give our children an all around great experience.

If you are thinking that camp is only for little children and you are “over that stage” thenyou have NEVER been to Gan Izzy’s AMAZING Pioneer Program! That is because...

We run a separate, individualized, exciting, fun-filled program that is geared especially forthis age. Special privileges and activities occur daily, led by fun loving and responsible counselors. The campers also have special learning sessions imbuing them with a love and joyfor Judaism, teaching them what it means to be Jewish, and joining in thought provoking discussions on pre-teen and teen years.

Aside from the weekly camp trips, the pioneers will enjoy an additional one to two excursions PER WEEK including horseback riding, hiking, Elitches, rock wall climbing, ceramicpainting, special tours, late nights, overnights, Shabatons and LOADS more.

WEEK ONE: PAINT BALLKids love this exciting activity that combines teamwork andsportsmanship. Whether the kids are playing Capture the Flag

or King of the Hill this fun and safe trip will sure be a winner.

WEEK TWO: WHITE WATER RAFTING Enjoy the exhilaration and excitement of Whitewater rafting. Campers learnthe art of teamwork as they navigate the rushing waters of Clear CreekCanyon. A delicious BBQ finishes the day. *

WEEK THREE: SWIM WITH THE SHARKSExperience what it’s like to swim with a 400 lb. Queensland Grouper, MorayEels, red drums, nurse sharks and 400 other exotic underwater animals inthe Under the Sea exhibit at the Downtown Aquarium. *

WEEK FOUR: FLIGHT ADVENTUREHave you ever wondered what your neighborhood looked like from the sky?Stop wondering and start flying. Begin the day with a ground instruction,learn the insides to flying a plane, and get an up-close tour of the airportand control tower. Buckle up and take flight with an experienced pilot whowill give you a flight of a life time.

WEEK FIVE: ENJOY A DAY AT CARTER LAKEA full day of exciting water sports at Carter Lake including: Motor boating, Tubing, Banana boating and swimming. Finish the day with a beach side BBQ.
