6.0 Legend:

The definition of house and camp rules at the CPF will be discussed under the following sections.

1. The Management of access.2. The implementation of camp rules and regulations.3. The implementation of house rules.

Due to the diversity of people being accommodated on site be it as a day visitor or as a border in the accommodation units, it is mandatory to set forth a set of governing rules and regulations to enable the people to be aware of the specific restrictions and arrangements. The CPF camp comprise of the 12 permanent houses, each with 7 en suit bedrooms, two dormitories each with 20 en suite bedrooms and temporary accommodation in the construction camp. The safe and comfortable accommodation of our visitors and rotation personnel is the prime objective of this procedure.

6.1 Access Control:

Access control and personal identification will be established at the main gate.

ID documentation will be required for Identification. ID documentation will be kept by security until such time as a permanent

ID tag has been issued. Day visitors will not receive a permanent ID tag, a visitors tag will be issued.

All personnel will be subject to a full induction process prior to admission to the site.

The security personnel is mandated to subject any person entering or exiting the site to a full personal and luggage search. Searches will be done at random or as part of a non-biased search program.

Entrance to the camp will be denied if a person refuses to be subject to the search process.

The camp is an alcohol free zone. We have a “zero tolerance” policy which by implication will deny any person access if any alcohol is detected on the person himself or during a breathalyser analyses. During breathalyser evaluation of a person it is not the quantity of alcohol which is the controlling measure but any positive deviation to zero.

If found positive at the gate the person will be refused entry and his line manager /host will be informed.

If however a person is found in the camp with a positive alcohol deviation he will be put off site and formally disciplined. If found guilty he will never be allowed to return to the Site.

The above will be implemented for any drug or narcotic usage. The clinic at SPT could formally quantify the level of alcohol ingestion. A person who was refused entry on the grounds of alcohol or drug

misconduct will be managed by Line management. Security will document the incident and communicate the incident to his line manager.

The main gate will be locked between 18h30 and 05h30 during the summer months and 17h30 and 06h00 during the winter months. Changes to these times as required by seasonal change will be communicated to all by the camp manager. Access and egress during the above restrictions will be granted only by the Camp Manager.
