EST IIEngagement Skills Trainer

Computer generates targets, terrain and weapons effects in a real-time three-dimensional display that also includes OPFOR weapons and sounds.

The EST II provides the capability to build and sustain marksmanship skills for squad and team fire distribution. It also contains control and judgmental use of force training with computer-generated imagery. The system also provides immediate feedback of hit/kill/miss for each firer that permits leaders to evaluate the effectiveness of their unit.

The most recent version of the Army's 3D virtual training game, Virtual Battle Space 3, allows players

to personalize their avatar within the simulation and the scenes/scenarios look a lot more real as well.

Camp Williams VBS3 Training with USMC 4th LAR – July 11-13, 2018

Maj Adam Hoover brought his unit in for 3 days of intense VBS

3 maneuver, tactics and comms training. 4 crews in LAV-25A2’s

and 2 crews of LAV-AT ran multiple missions culminating in a

final day event where the LAV teams ran a mission in VBS3

using their actual radios to stimulate an actual HQ unit

stationed downrange on Camp Williams.

Those radio calls were tracked and mapped by the Command Unit to

stimulate HQ battlefield tracking. The final event was a VBS3 Call For Fire

mission made over actual radios to the live Command Unit who then relayed

the fire mission, and subsequent adjust fire missions, to a virtual VBS3 gun-

line. It was a great success and the unit couldn’t have been more satisfied.

IEDESImprovised Explosive Device Effects Simulator

Suggested to be used with CI2C (Tracy Jackson 801-878-5360)

The IEDES system is used as a simulated

Improvised Explosive Devise (IED) blast, to

train Soldiers on how to react to an IED.

• Enables units to train on current enemy IED TTPs

•Contractor to maximize training value

• May be used in conjunction with CREW2 systems

IED/UXO TRAINING AIDS

The intent is to expose a unit to a wide variety of

IEDs while in training. The munitions are flexible,

adaptable, and interchangeable to reflect the

current construct and design of IEDs used in an

area of operation.

The IED training aids consist of different types of

military grade munitions, home made devices and

associated IED manufacturing accessories. Train

the trainer instruction can be provided to assist

trainers utilize the aids in classroom exercises and

placement techniques for scenario enhancement.

HEATHMMWV Egress Assistance Trainer

Provides HMMWV Rollover Drill

The HEAT is a crew compartment of

a HMMWV mounted to an

electronically controlled platform

that enables the crew compartment to

be rotated 360 degrees and stopped at

any angle during its rotation. The

device accommodates a crew of five

and was specifically designed to train

the mandated HMMWV rollover

drills.
