Race Day - Water Stations

1. Reducing number of water stations on route from 3 to 2 at the 5km and 10km marks

2. 85% less plastic water sachets at water points, reducing the plastic footprint on route,

have recyclable paper cups instead

3. DHL reusable water bottles handed out to every participant reducing the need for water

sachets.

4. Encouraging runners to run with a hydration pack/water bottle and be self-supportive –

reducing the need for plastic water sachets. #ICarryMyOwn

5. Refill stations for water bottles will be allocated at the start and along the route.

6. Litter Zones – Designated litter zones with litter pens to keep the route litter free #RunClean
