Current job openings Vessel Positions: Captain/Pilot: This position requires a current U.S.C.G. license as a Master or Operator of un-inspected towing vessels endorsed for service on the inland waterways. The responsibilities of the position are the safe and efficient operation and performance of the crew, vessel, barges and cargo. The pilot will assume these responsibilities while serving as watchstander in the absence of the Captain. Engineer: This person is responsible for the safe operation and efficient maintenance of all vessel machinery and equipment and the necessary fuel, oil and bilge water transfers. Deckhand: This person is responsible for making and inspecting tows, locking, painting and cleaning in a safe and efficient manner in conformity with all Company safety rules and policies. Landside Positions: Fitter/Welder: Must be able to pass a basic welding and burning test. Benefits: Pension/401(k) plan Medical Insurance Life Insurance Paid Vacation

DISCHARGE OF OIL PROHIBITED The Federal Water Pollution Control Act prohibits the discharge of oil or oily waste into or upon the navigable water of the United States or the waters of the contiguous zone if such discharge causes a film or sheen upon, a discoloration on the surface of the water or causes a sludge or emulsion beneath the surface of the water. Violators are subject to substantial civil penalties and/or criminal sanctions including fines and imprisonment. DISCHARGE OF GARBAGE IN THE MARINE ENVIRONMENT 1. The discharge of plastic or garbage mixed with plastic into any waters is prohibited. 2. The discharge of all garbage is prohibited in the navigable waters of the United States and, in all other waters, within 3 nautical miles of the nearest land. 3. The discharge of dunnage, lining, and packing materials that float is prohibited within 25 nautical miles of the nearest land. 4. Other unground garbage may be discharged beyond 12 nautical mile from the nearest land. 5. Other garbage ground to less than one inch may be discharge beyond three nautical miles of the nearest land. 6. A person who violates the above requirements is liable for a civil penalty of up to $25,000.00, a fine of up to $50,000.00, and imprisonment for up to five years for each violation.

7. Regional, State and local restrictions on garbage discharges also may apply.

Our growing fleet of jumbo hopper barges has an average age of 10 years. CTC and C&C performs harbor services and marine/industrial services at our extensive operations concentrated in the Upper Ohio River area from Pittsburgh, PA to Huntington, WV. Our fleets and facilities are strategically located to serve our operations and to provide a wide range of harbor, marine and industrial services to our customers. Our harbor, marine and industrial services include fleeting, shifting, harbor management, underwater/topside motor vessel and barge repairs, dry cargo barge cleaning, crane services, motor vessel repowering /rehabilitation, fabrication and new construction.

Our Fleets and Facilities: CTC and C&C operates from 25 independent fleets with a total barge fleeting capacity over 800 barges and 5 shipyard/topside repair facilities strategically located in the Upper Ohio River Region to serve our operations and to provide a wide range of harbor, marine and industrial services to our customers. In addition, CTC Dunlevy also has the capability to provide the following services: New construction, topside and underwater repair services Harbor/Shifting/Fleeting services Fleeting services for up to sixty (60) barges Harbor and shifting services within Lock 4 pool and along Monongahela River Two (2) drydocks (50'width) with 350GT & 500GT capacity Launching ways for new vessel construction Staffed w/marine mechanics, electricians, welders, laborers & painters U.S. Coast Guard certified welders are available for tank barge/inspected vessel repairs

C&C Clairton Milepost 18.5 Monongahela River:

C&C Clairton specializes in above and underwater motor vessel and dry cargo barge repairs. In addition, C&C Clairton also has the capability to provide the following services: New construction, topside and underwater repair services Construction, topside and underwater repair services Harbor/Shifting/Fleeting services Fleeting for up to one hundred (100) barges Harbor and shifting services within Lock 2 pool and along Monongahela River Six (6) Cradle Marine Ways with up to 650GT capacity capable of drydocking three (3) barges at one time Staffed w/welders & laborers U.S. Coast Guard certified welders are available for tank barge/inspected vessel repairs Niagara 500-ton, 20 ft. brake press for steel fabrication

C&C Georgetown specializes in above and underwater motor vessel/dry cargo barge repairs, fiberglass cover repairs and dry cargo barge washing/sweeping.
