DiDio, daugh t er of Mrs. Nancy DiDio , 237 51st St., Lindenhurst . has been awarded an Alumni Regional Scholarship to attend the University of Rochester. Recipients, of whom 25 were named across the country this year, were selected on the basis of academic achievement and personal character. The scholarships carry stipends ranging from a $1 00 honorarium to $4 ,000. depending on the in- dividual financial need . Miss DiDio was nominated by the Admissions and Scholarship Committee of the UR alumni in the Hempst ead area. A graduating senior at Lindenhurst High School . and a member of the National Honor Society, she has participated in tennis , volleyball , basketball , badminton , and skiing, and is a member of the Russian Club.
