Golf, tennis, sailing, arts & crafts, swimming, and themed activities all bunched into a week-long camp for 5-10 year olds. Club Kids runs for 11 straight weeks, yes we added an entire week of

ADVENTURE KIDS

The goal in this camp is to get active and a little bit wild all while conquering obstacles and creating lasting memories. From wacky science experiments and daring scavenger hunts, to nature hikes,

fishing, and swimming, there is no shortage of adventure for all involved. This camp will briefly travel outside Ocean Reef Club property to explore a state park and is perfect for our ‘tween’ campers.

NATURE EXPLORATION

A hands on, virtual and educational experience! This year we are kayaking through mangroves and learning about the habitats and the animals that call the mangroves home. Trip to Everglades

and Biscayne National Park, Virtual tour of the Turtle Hospital, the Coral Restoration nursery, Aquarius, and take a wild ride through the river of grass at the everglades alligator farm. We’ll also take a deeper look at wildlife and conservation efforts in our own backyard at Zoo Miami Florida:

As the Recreation Team’s proud headliner, Reef Discovery camp returns for its 14th season! This 4 week on-and-off property camp truly lives up to it’s name. Join us for: parasailing at Jimmy

Johnson’s Big Chill, swimming with dolphins at Theatre of the Sea, tubing in Islamorada, exploring the Everglades including an airboat ride, and snorkeling with The Dive Shop at ORC. New this year,

close and personal with our world famous coral reefs and their inhabitants. Certified divers can return to earn your Jr. Advanced Open Water Diver. Special hands-on workshops and bonus dives include

Fish ID with R.E.E.F. and coral transplant techniques with Coral Restoration Foundation.

MARINELAB

Become a marine biologist for a week! Marine scientists will introduce students to the local marine ecosystem from the seagrass beds out to the coral reef, through hands-on lab activities, field observations and fun discussions. Part of the week will be spent at MarineLab’s education/

research campus in Key Largo, including exciting snorkeling excursions to come face-to-face with fish and other unusual creatures.



SAFE BOATING CAMP

Get your sea legs about you, and join us for the new and exciting camp. This hands on camp, will leave students with a strong understanding how to safely operate power boats, navigate local waters, and

learn to enjoy a huge part of what makes Ocean Reef Club so unique. Taught by retired US Coast Guard and active US Coast Guard Auxiliary Members, this educational class combines hands-on

and classroom learning. Upon completion each camper receives a Boating Safety Course Certificate approved by NASBLA and the USCG Auxiliary.

SAILING CAMP

Hop on your Opti and sail away! Whether brushing up on techniques or learning the basics, sailing campers will focus on mastering skills with the help of an instructor, culminating in an

RISING STAR CAMP

Lights, Camera, Action, FUN! This camp is sure to bring the STAR out in your child. This lighthearted camp is here to teach young children the excitement of musical theater. They will

build characters using theater games and exercises while learning how to portray different character types through acting, music and movement. The week will culminate in a talent show.

So look out Hollywood, here we come!



ORC SWIM CAMP

Competitive swimmers, from novice to intermediate to elite level, will focus on mastering their swim technique, building confidence, and becoming stronger athletes in the pool and on dryland.

This camp will provide group and personalized swim instruction, video analysis, and wellness conditioning for all full-day swimmers. Athletes will also make use of a number of Club Fitness

facilities as part of camp. Previous swim team experience recommended.

ADVANCED CHEF FOR A WEEK

Our Chef for a Week camp have been so popular we have decided to take it to the next level, Advanced level to be exact. Aspiring chefs ages 12-16 join Chef Shelby Confer in the kitchen to

learn grilling on the patio, pastry making in our Bake Shop, preparing seafood and knife safety. The week will culminate in Iron Chef competition to find out who might be the next Chef de Cuisine!
