TRANSCRIPT
in January. There are
many other activities that
are taking place such as
band, theater, vocal music
and debate. I want to en-
courage you to come out
and support our sports
and activities programs.
Our students need to
know that the community
supports them in all their
endeavors.
When inclement weather
causes the schools to
close in our district, there
will be an announcement
made between 6:00 and
8:00 am. on local radio
and television stations.
Thank you for your sup-
port this semester. We
look forward to working
with you during the spring
semester.
Merry Christmas and
Happy New Year from all
of us at Campus!
Myron Regier
Principal
Season’s Greetings from
the staff and administra-
tion at Campus High
School!
As the holiday season ap-
proaches there are several
important things that stu-
dents need to remember.
The fall semester will end
on Thursday, Dec. 17 at
3:05 pm. This means that
students need to focus on
the last few days of class.
Assignments need to be
turned in on time and
preparation should be
made for final exams. The
semester grade is the
grade that will be placed
on the student’s transcript
so this is a very important
time in our academic year.
First semester grades will
be given to students on
Thursday, Jan. 7 in semi-
nar classes. If you have
not received this report,
please call the high school.
You will also be able to
look up your student’s
grades on Power School.
This is an important re-
port card because this is
the grade that will be en-
tered on your student’s
transcript. Grades at
Campus are cumulative
and reflect the entire se-
mester’s performance in a
particular subject. These
final grades translate into
credits, which are re-
quired in order to gradu-
ate. In one semester, a
student can earn 4.25
credits, i.e. .5 for each
subject and .25 for semi-
nar. Passing classes is very
important since gradua-
tion for 11th-12th graders
is based on students ac-
quiring 25 credits plus .25
credit per semester for
seminar. This year’s fresh-
men and sophomores
come in under the new
graduation requirements
of 27 credits plus .25 per
seminar.
The winter sports season
is now in full swing with
boys and girls basketball,
wrestling and boys swim-
ming. Bowling will begin

Final exams are scheduled
for Dec. 14 (W2), 15 (B2),
16 (W1/3/4), & 17 (B1/3/4).
On Dec. 16 & 17, the 2nd
block class will be a study
hall. Students will be re-
quired to be in all other
classes Dec. 14 and Dec.15
even if they are exempt
from 2nd block finals.
All students must take
final exams unless granted
an exemption by their
teacher. Exemptions are
allowed only when a student
has an average of at least
93%, four or fewer absences
and teacher permission is
granted. Each student re-
ceived an exemption form
and they are responsible for
taking that form to each of
the classes they will be ex-
empt from to be signed by
the teacher. The form then
must be signed by a parent
or guardian prior to the
absence being approved by
Mr. Regier. Students are still
required to attend the class
during the final exam unless
this form is properly filled
out.
Students leaving school
without this paperwork
complete will be considered
truant. Students who are
exempt are not to be on
school grounds during any
part of the exempted class.
Students are required to
sign out at the beginning of
an exempted class and also
to sign in when returning to
school.
If your student is exempt
from 1W and/or 3W on
Dec. 16, they can be ex-

also. If your student is ex-
empt from 1B and/or 3B on
