We’re excited about the 2019-2020 school year at HMS. Hedrick MS had an outstanding 2018-19 school year winning 1st place at the Academic UIL Meet for the 5th year in a row. Our 8th grade made a strong showing on the PSAT with many students earning EOC testing credit for high school Algebra and English I courses. Once again, our fine arts programs achieved major goals as our Orchestra and Choir brought home Superior Ratings. Our award-winning band had a spectacular year with a large number of students making All-District and All-Region Bands. Hedrick Middle School also offers a wide variety of academic classes including PAP, GT, Sp Ed, High School Credit Classes as well as AP Spanish, in which students earn college credit for foreign language. Our fine arts department is second to none and continually produces outstanding young musicians, actors and artists who regularly perform for the community. HMS also offers over 30 clubs to meet a variety of interests from robotics and archery to karaoke, chess and gardening.
