The best way to determine if you feel at home at Newberry

College is to visit our campus. Walk around on your own.

Take a tour with a student guide. Visit with our faculty

and staff. Ask our students about learning and living

here. Attend a sports event, a play or concert, or faculty

presentation. Eat in our cafeteria or try out a residence

hall. Venture into downtown.

Soak it all in. Feel like you belong.

Personal Visits

A personal visit is ideal for you to tailor your campus experience. We host guided campus tours Monday-Friday (and Saturday mornings by appointment). You can arrange to sit in on classes, meet with faculty and coaches, engage with other students, and have lunch in our cafeteria. We’ll provide one-on-one counseling about the admissions process and financial aid opportunities. While walk-in visitors are always welcome, it’s best to give us a little notice so we can personalize a visit to your interests. You can also choose the option of an overnight visit, where you’ll be hosted in a residence hall by a student leader. We want you to get the most from your time at Newberry.

Saturday Visit Days

These three-hour programs connect you with admissions staff, financial aid counselors, and current Newberry students—along with other prospective students and parents. You’ll enjoy an information session, a student-led walking tour, and lunch in our cafeteria. You’ll find a schedule of Saturday Visit Days on our web site.

Open House Events

Our Fall and Spring Open Houses showcase many aspects of Newberry College—academics, scholarships, athletics, student involvement, facilities, and more. The day includes campus tours and plenty of time to talk with faculty, coaches, admissions and financial aid staff and (most importantly) other students! You’re welcome to stay for a sports event, theatre or music production, or whatever else is happening on our busy campus. Many of our academic departments also hold special events for students interested in a specific major or field of study.
