Youth Parents and Volunteers: there will be a brief meeting after worship TODAY in the lounge. Plan to attend if you have youth aged children (grade 7 to 12). Children ages 3 through 11 years are invited to join BIBLE SNOOPS beginning on September 20. We meet downstairs following morning worship from about 11:15-12. We’re looking forward to digging into the Old Testament and discovering the great stories and truths contained in the Bible. Come and meet up with old friends and make some new ones! See you then! NOTE: The Sunday School sessions will run at the same time as our Adult and Youth Life Application Huddles, from 11:15am to noon.

Operation Christmas Child: boxes available by the mail files. Back to school is a good time to start shopping for your gift boxes.

No candy please. Plastic boxes are the most useful. Boxes from Canada will be going to 14 different

countries (for list see the bulletin board). —————

Neighbor Aid Center is in great need of volunteers: 1) Drivers to drive clients into Edmonton for specialty medical appointments. Police check is required. Gas vouchers are available. 2) Thursday phone person (9am to noon) every Thursday. Please call 780-679-3220 or drop by the office at 4524-54

You are invited to join in CENTERING PRAYER in the Augustana Chapel 8:00-8:30 am every Thursday morning beginning September 10 during the academic term. In the silence and unity of contemplative prayer we deepen our awareness of God’s loving presence, nourish our soul and bring peace and love into our community.
