Backup and Restoration

You can back up the data into your Mac for highly confidentiality. First, please use your PC/Mac to download and operate the program for backup and restoration from http://download.intsig.net/desktop/. Then please back up your data in your PC/Mac through wireless, or restore your data from PC/Mac to mobile device. (You need to connect your PC/Mac and your mobile device in a same wireless local area network, such as a WiFi hotspot.） ���You can find the backup and restoration in the Settings view and choose your connected host, and operate this program in your PC/Mac . ���If this is your first time to connect this host, you need to enter six verify numbers. ���When connection is successful, please use your PC/Mac to back up or restore. ���(Please do not close the connection or exit the program in the backup and restoration time.）

Automate Mode ���If you would like to add the documents as soon as possible, you can use automate mode. Under this mode, you can continuous shooting the pictures or continuous selecting the pictures from photo album. The background of CamScanner will crop and enhance your pictures automatically. The system will tell

you when the image processing is finished. shows the

pictures which are unprocessed.

Passcode Protection ���You can use the passcode to protect your confidential documents. ���You can turn on/off the passcode protection or change the code number in the Settings view. ���You can open the passcode protection or cancel it for some documents in the main view.

Attention： ���Please DO REMEMBER your passcode, we cannot reset or cancel your passcode.���When you exit CamScanner, the program will be locked; all the documents in the protection will be opened only with the right passcode number. ���After you enter the right code number, the program will be opened; all the documents can be viewed until you exit CamScanner. ���

User-defined tags ���You can add or edit the tags by yourself, including change the color of the tags.

Merge documents ���(Only for iOS 4.0+） ���You can move/copy the files/documents to the other documents. ���Long press the files/documents, and choose move/copy, you will see:

You can choose a target document or tap to create a new document.

For iPod Touch ���CamScanner supports iPod Touch now, but please understand that: ���Because of built-in camera of iPod Touch, the images might be not clear enough.

Create a document

Tap at the left side of bottom toolbar and choose to "Take a photo" or "Select photo from album" in the pop-up menu to create a new document.

Switch viewing mode ���Tap the three buttons in the center of bottom

toolbar, you can switch document viewing mode (list mode ,

classified mode , thumbnail mode ).

View the uploading documents ���Tap at the right side of bottom toolbar to enter the uploading view for checking the uploading documents and to activate or deactivate WIFI

share. ��� Editing mode ���Tap at the top-right, you can enter the editing mode, while the bottom toolbar will be switched to editing mode automatically.

Under this mode, you can simply tap the documents for selecting them. ���And the bottom toolbar will be shown these buttons(from left to right): delete the selected documents, send selected documents via email, lock or open passcode protection for selected documents, add tags to the selected documents, and upload the selected documents.

Settings ���Tap in the top-left, you can enter the Settings view. ���In this view, you can change the name of tag, switch the image enhancement mode, enter account settings view, and enter help view. ���

Search document ���Drag the document list down to show the search bar at the top of the list. Then you can type the document name, file name, note for searching. ���

Uploading view

After entering the uploading view, you can tap the switch button to active or deactivate WIFI share. While the WIFI share is activated, you will be able to access the PDFs from the web browser. ���When there are PDFs being uploaded, a progress bar will show the progress rate. ���In case the uploading is stopped, you can tap the "Retry" or "Cancel" button to retry uploading or cancel it.���Tap

"Remove All Finished Uploadings" button to delete finished uploading. ���

Document edit

Tap on a document to manage the document.

Tap at the top-right, you can rename the document, set tag and change the page size of PDF.

You can remove the page in the document by tapping .

You can reorder the document by dragging .

You can see the note of the page by tapping .

You can add a new page to the document by tapping .

You can preview the PDF file by tapping . You can upload the document (PDF) to different web service by

tapping . Or you can open the document （PDF）by using other PDF readers. Page Preview ���Tap one page to have a page preview.���Switch to the

previous page, tap . ���Switch to the next page, tap . ���To save

the image into your photo album or email it, tap . ���To show

and edit the note of the page, tap . ���To re-edit the image, tap

. ���Drag-to-go to turn pages is also available. ������������

Image Edit View

To choose a proper region, drag these points.

To rotate the image, tap .

To select the whole image, tap .

To let the app find a proper region for you, tap .

To process the image, tap . To choose different image enhancement modes, tap the button at the top-right. When the processing is done, the buttons will be changed to Reset, Rotation,Modify the image details and Confirm.

To show and edit the note of the page, tap .
