STEP 1: Brainstorm Design Ideas1. FOLLOW THE RUBRIC PASSED OUT IN CLASS.

2. USE OUR SCHOOL COLORS, MASCOT AND SLOGANS TO CREATE A DESIGN FOR OUR GREENHOUSE WALLS, SHELVES, POTS, AND DOOR.

3. DRAW DESIGN ON HANDOUT ADD DETAILS.

4. SUBMIT DESIGN. ANY QUESTIONS? Ask Mr. Healy or Ms. Apatov

5. 5 FINALISTS WILL BE CHOSEN.

6. YOU WILL VOTE ON YOUR FAVORITE DESIGN DURING LUNCH. (DATE TO BE DETERMINED)

Criteria for Success: Greenhouse Design Submission

• Should be easy to read if planning to use text.

• Original design that communicates Redland pride.

• Organized and planned carefully, paying close attention to detail.

• Is visually interesting-can use colored pencils to add color.

• Design exhibits good craftsmanship when submitting final product-the design should be handed in free of rips, tears, smudges, or folds.
