What is a Carcinogen?
• A carcinogen is any substance, or radioactive product that can cause cancer
• Surprisingly, all humans are exposed to carcinogens in our daily lives, although many cancer-causing carcinogens can be avoided

Examples of Carcinogens
• Oncoviruses, viruses that can potentially cause cancer.
• Radioactivity and Ultraviolet Rays• Chemicals that can be found in tobacco
smoke.• These are only some examples of
possible carcinogens.

• Breast Cancer-Cancer of the breast tissue; mostly
found in women but 1% of cases can be found in men.
-About 31% of people diagnosed with breast cancer die of it.
