User authentication is required only when you select a specific function of the device

No need to enter User ID and Password for authentication for the functions that are not restricted

• The Function-level Log-in requires SSO-H v2.0 and the Access Management Systems to be activated.

When you press a function key that is restricted, the Login screen is displayed.

When [Log In] is pressed after entering a user name and password, user authentication is performed, and the function screen is displayed, only if the user is allowed to use the function.

Remote Fax

Reduces cost of purchasing/maintaining multiple fax devices/fax boards/fax lines

Gives flexibility to environments with fixed fax line positions to be able to fax from multiple locations

Improves workflow from allowing users to send faxes from multiple locations rather than one central location

• You must make the appropriate settings in Additional Functions to specify the Remote Fax Client and Remote Fax Server devices. To receive a fax that the server device received on the client device, you must specify the settings on the server machine so that the received fax is forwarded to the client device as an I-Fax. You can select the line to use for sending remote fax on the server device when there are multiple lines. A fax board cannot be installed on a Remote Fax client device.
