Step 1: Attach leg clamp strap to lift leg. Slide leg strap clamp onto lift leg by bending it open and sliding it around lift leg and bend shut again. Position leg strap clamp so the bottom of it is 57" above the lifts bottom beam. Secure leg strap clamp to lift leg using the hole closest to the lift leg and secure with 3/8 x 2-1/2" hex bolt, washers and nyloc nut. Do not overtighten, linear actuator will get attached to outer hole on leg strap clamp.

Step 2: Attach UHMW tape to the top inside surface of lift legs and to the bottom of the actuated canopy legs (as shown). Note: In order to make the UHMW tape stick better to the aluminum surfaces use isopropyl alcohol to clean, let dry before applying UHMW tape. Step 3: Slide actuated canopy legs into lift legs (as shown).

Step 4: Attach motor end of linear actuator with connector to actuated canopy leg using 3/8 x 1-1/2 hex bolt and nyloc nut. Make sure motor on linear actuator is positioned to face inward. Step 5: Attach rod end of linear actuator with connector to the leg clamp strap using 3/8 x 2-1/2 hex bolt, washers and nyloc nut.

Step 6: Attach canopy to liftaccording to canopy instructions. Except attach canopy to actuated canopy leg. Note: If using larger than a 25' canopy the canopy brace can not be used with the actuated canopy you must purchase a new heavy duty canopy designed to be used without the canopy brace.

Step 7: Attach terminal block to canopy frame using self drilling pan screws 1/4-20 x 1-1/2" (as shown).

Step 8: Connect cable – linear actuator 14GA x 20’ with connectors to cable on linear actuator with connector.

Step 9: Run linear actuator cables up to terminal block. Attach cable to canopy frame using cable ties (P/N:

1019226).

Step 10: Attach ring terminals on linear actuator cables and coil cable to posts on terminal blocks. Make sure

to attach all red + positive wires to the same post and all black – negative wires to the same post. Secure with

1/4" nuts.

Step 11: Coil up excess wire from linear actuators and use cable ties to secure to the canopy frame.

Step 12: Attach actuated canopy control box to lift leg by removing the paper backing of the tape on the back

of the control box and affix the box to the lift leg, press firmly and hold for 20-30 seconds.

Step 13: Connect lift mate boat side cable 15’ to control box cable and other end to battery.

Step 14: Operate actuated canopy using toggle switch on control box “up” to raise canopy and “down” to lower

canopy. Watch all moving parts while operating to make sure no wires, parts or people get pinched.
