Storm of 8 May 2014 and Answered Prayers
A storm wreaked havoc in the
Yangon region on 8 May 2014.
There was inconsistent supply of
water and electricity for many
weeks after. The community set
up a temporary catchment of
water using canvas and bamboo
sticks. They prayed hard for rain to
arrive. And rain it did! So much so
that it broke the catchment. The
girls ran to save as much water as
they could. They then formed a human chain to transfer water
from the catchment to their water tanks. God truly is Providential!
New FED 7th Batch (July2014)
Canossa Home welcomed a new batch of girls for the FED Basic
Course in July 2014. These 20 new girls will form the new FED 7th

prayers.

“I have learnt that Singaporeans are very fortunate to be
not poor. Compared to us, kids at home, the children there
only have the basic items while I can open a bookstore with
the amount of story books my brother and I have.”
