Social impact
This idea will help poor people to enjoy standard medical facilities and reduce the number of
deaths in this world who die of poverty and lack of monetary aspects to cure themselves.Non-
communicable diseases, especially cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cancer, stroke and chronic
lung diseases had emerged as major public health problems in the country. More over the tie up
with social health activists will help in generating more income for these people. It will increase
the frequency of number of people in the world who donate. All this will narrow the gap
between urban and rural health care and create the interest of Indian private health care.It will
make the social health activists self dependent. Moreover it will reduce the number of people
who die due to of lack of financial means.

The information about cases will be provided by SHA (Social Health Activist) as they look
after any health related demands of deprived sections of the population, especially women
and children, who find it difficult to access health services. Hence our idea will serve as the
additional source of income for these poor ladies affiliated with SHA. Hence our idea serves
two purposes i.e., income generation and provision of medical aid at the right time. A person
logging on to our website will be open to the options of funding (only for lower middle class
people) or donating under any category. The payment options shall be via credit/debit cards.
We will have provision for one time donation/funding or monthly membership or via sms
which is again an innovative step as this has never been in action for any of the health care
cases. The security and secrecy of the data provided by our customers shall be maintained in
the best possible manner. Our key success factor shall be the modus operandi that we shall
adopt to ensure transparency through which every donor would be able to know the person to
whom he has rendered his services. More over to capture the interest of the donors, we shall
conduct monthly lucky draws and reward the one or few of them. The rewards shall be
sponsored by our corporate sponsors who would be wishing to be a part of our project for
sustainable development.

Value proposition
The main aim of this idea is to reduce the number of deaths in this world because of poverty
and to provide a platform where poor people in rural areas can equally enjoy good medical
facilities as compared to people in urban areas. The website will help people who dont have
money to cure themselves.
Moreover the transparency in our website will act as a reliable factor for the donors/lenders
who want to pay for a cause rather to pay for a system. And lastly the tie up with Social
Health Activists will help the woman registered with it to earn additional source of income.
Hence our idea serves two purposes i.e., income generation and provision of medical aid at
the right time for poor people. This will also help to narrow down the rural and urban
healthcare gap and arouse the interest of Indian private healthcare in rural India which is one
of the largest in the world.
Current status and funding:
This idea is still in its conceptualization stage where we are interviewing a group of different
people of upper and elite upper class and record their suggestions about donation or lending.
A questionnaire is designed to record their observations

Market Analysis/Market Strategy
Market Size
1. India has a vast health care sector, estimated at Rs 126.27 billion in 1998. This health
care sector is broadly divided into the public and private sectors. Public health services
consist of the following 'step-up referral' network of sub-centres, primary health centres,
community health centres and district hospitals:
o 140,000 sub-centres manned by two multipurpose health workers; 23,000 primary
health centres (PHCs) with a medical officer, 14 staff and 4-6 patient beds, with
each PHC acting as a referral unit for six sub centres; 3,000 community health
centres (CHCs) with four medical specialists, 21 staff, 30 beds and basic surgical
and lab facilities, with each CHC a referral unit for four PHCs; 550 district
hospitals and 1,012 at the sub-divisional level.
o
In the urban areas, the network consists of urban family welfare centres for
contraceptives, urban health posts and hospitals.

The idea came up with the fact that 40% of poor people who are hospitalized in India had
to borrow money or sell off assets. About 20000 people die each day because of poverty
out of which medical problems accounts for majority of deaths. This website will help the
poor people to cure themselves with the help of donors and enjoy equal medical facilities
as compared to urban people. The people who want to donate show more interest in
donating for a case rather than for a system.
Major benefits:-
1) No such initiative has been taken till date in rural and health care sector, despite of the
fact that this sector has to bear an annual expense of 51US $. This innovation will help
bring down the death rate in various parts of the world by helping the poor get the
right medical care anytime, anywhere.
2) More over the provision for funding and donation at a same place has never been
implemented so far.
3) And most important it helps in arousing interest of Indian private healthcare which is
one of the largest in the world and helps to narrow the gap of urban rural healthcare.
4) A person logging on to our website will be open to the options of funding (only for
lower middle class people) or donating under any category. The payment options shall
be via credit/debit cards. We will have provision for one time donation/funding or
monthly membership or via sms which is again an innovative step as this has never

been in action for any of the health care cases. The security and secrecy of the data
provided by our customers shall be maintained in the best possible manner.
5) It will act as an additional source of income for SHA(social health activist) and make
them more self reliant.
6) It will increase the frequency of people worldwide who donate.
7) Businessmen who have much money but don't have time can also donate in a seconds.
8) Also people will no longer have to depend upon print advertisment regarding blood
donation and other help which will take days to find a donater. It inturn reduces time
between the needy and the helper.
9) As we see that at the time of any terrorist activities e.g bombings, people rush here and
there in order to search for their loved ones. THIS WEBSITE which is in collaboration
with all major hospitals will put up a list on this website naming all the people
admitted to various hospiatls soon after bombings . This will help people to know
about their loved ones immediately after disaster or any other calamity.
10) Our key success factor shall be the modus operandi that we shall adopt to ensure
transparency through which every donor would be able to know the person to whom
he has rendered his services. More over to capture the interest of the donors, we shall

Social impact analysis
1. This idea will help poor people to enjoy standard medical facilities and reduce the
number of deaths in this world who die of poverty and lack of monetary aspects to cure
themselves.Non-communicable diseases, especially cardiovascular diseases, diabetes,
cancer, stroke and chronic lung diseases had emerged as major public health problems in
the country. Surveys showed that in 2005, these chronic diseases accounted for 53 per
cent (5,466,000) of all deaths (10,363,000) in the countryout of which 50% caused due
to lack of financial aid. If we managed to save even 10% of these cases we will end up in
saving 27000 people in a year which cant be neglected
2. More over the tie up with social health activists will help in generating more income for
these people who at present earn between 5-15$/day wich is very low.
3. It will increase the frequency of number of people in the world who donate.
4. All this will narrow the gap between urban and rural health care and create the interest of
Indian private health care. It will make the social health activists self dependent.
Moreover it will reduce the number of people who die due to of lack of financial means.
