Canvas Parent Guide: Logging In & Viewing Student Marks and Feedback

Please follow the instructions below to access your daughters marks and feedback for her

assessment tasks. Your daughter will be able to show you how to navigate Canvas and where you can find marks and feedback:

1. Go to www.msj.vic.edu.au and click on Main Menu in the top right hand corner. Go to the Quicklinks section on the left and choose CURRENT FAMILES. Click on the canvas icon. Canvas is best viewed on a computer or tablet.

2. Enter your username & password supplied by the college. If you do not have a copy, please contact helpdesk@msj.vic.edu.au

The main dashboard gives you access to each of your daughter's subjects, an overview of upcoming tasks, and access to assessment marks.

To access your daughter's marks, click on the View Grades button on the far right

Here you will be shown an average of all tasks for each subject.

To see individual tasks, click on one of the subject names.

By clicking on the comment, score details or rubric buttons next to each assignment, you will be able to see teacher feedback and making for each assignment.

To view a copy of your daughter's submission or leave your own comment, click on the assignment title.
