MTIS Group realises that offering a quality product solution is only one part of the equation, which is why we offer a complete nationally recognised training program in engineering and high pressure hose assembly. The course is offered via in class training (either at one of our centres or onsite), or through an online portal which allows the training to be completed at the students own pace with minimal disruption to their job. The course covers a range of critical topics including OH&S, application of quality systems along with many technical topics including hydraulic systems, hose assembly, coupling systems, SAEJ1273 hydraulic hose installation and fluid injection injury awareness.

MTIS Group recognises that hose and fittings can be dangerous and are committed to training and building awareness of everyone who works with our products. We also appreciate that everyone learns differently and ensure that the information and techniques are understood and applied correctly. Detailed assessment information is kept by our trainers and upon successful completion of the course the candidate will be awarded a ‘Certificate II in engineering, high pressure hose assembly’ which is the national standard of competency for a hydraulic hose technician in the Asia-Pacific.

MTIS Group specialise in the design, manufacture and maintenance of hydrostatic test packs. In stock are a large range of high pressure hoses, fittings and components to suit a variety of fluid applications. We frequently audit, repair and upgrade hydro-static test units that originate in Canada and the USA that are used in the surface drilling industry.

MainTenanCe anD MODiFiCaTiOnsMTIS Group regularly perform modifications and maintenance to new and existing test packs to suit the ever changing demands of the industry. Regular services include the relocation and addition of filters and strainers, upgrades and servicing of the air system, replacement and rebuilding of HP components, system modification to include digital gauge test points, vented & monitored relief points, HP fitting register tracking and the replacement and rebuilding of pumps and associated parts.

CusTOM insTallaTiOnsMTIS Group have the capability to design and install systems on mobile plant. Pictured below is a chemical injection system designed and installed on coil tubing unit. The system was designed with multiple relief points to protect the pump from user error, a dual input utilising either the tubing units’ standard reservoir or alternatively an external feed from a drum or container. The system was controlled pneumatically and capable of both low pressure high volume delivery (8LPM at 140PSI) and high pressure low volume up to 15,000 psi.

inVenTOry ManaGeMenTOnsite installation, inventory management and training services are able to be supplied by your local MTIS Group remote solutions division and come with the full support of our team to yours. This begins with the site visit by our specialist to design the container that’s right for you, followed by equipment training, inventory management system integration and RFID/ hose tracking training if required.

Once onsite, MTIS will support you with the proper training for all equipment with our ZERO HARM safety policy at the forefront. DesiGneD FOr yOur enVirOnMenTOur Remote Solutions division specialises in delivering fully customised mobile workshop solutions directly to your work site. Highly efficient containers provide all the necessary inventory management, training, equipment & remote support you need for fabrication of hose and tube assemblies. MTIS Group also designs and builds hydrostatic test units which can be implemented in to your container for pressure testing of hosing assemblies, along with the necessary training and work instruction compliance with relevant standards to ensure that the job has been done correctly.

MTIS Group understands how important it is to keep a work site running efficiently. The Remote Solutions division will significantly reduce the time it takes to obtain critical spares or fabricate hose assemblies to OEM specifications & cleanliness.
