At the center of all true chaos and self-destructive debauchery there is always a tortured soul. The soul wants to leave behind the past, but is imprisoned by so much rage and bitterness. The horror that we see is this contradiction. This tragic and misguided battle between the need for revenge and the desire to escape. So lost, hurt and confused, like the adolescent mind humiliated by the taunting and scorn of peers, chaos eventually lashes out. If only there was someone brave enough, with the bottomless compassion necessary to encompass the whole of this fury, to give chaos a brief respite so it can untangle itself from the binds of self doubt, the storm will calm. And a new world will emerge, cleansed, redeemed, and sancti�ed by sacri�ce. But for now, there is only chaos and its insatiable need to in�ict pain
