Chapter 22: God Made Big ThingsIn this lesson, the children considered some of God’s biggest creations, such as oceans, mountains, and elephants. They learned that God is very great and powerful. They also heard that God loves them more than he loves these great things. Read aloud or have your child tell you about his or her book about God’s love. Ask your child to describe the giant thank-you card the class made for God.

Your ChildFour-year-old children are curious about the world around them. You can develop your child’s sense of awe and wonder by pointing out God’s large creations, such as tall trees and beautiful sunrises. Discuss God’s gifts of big things.
