Impact of the latest NHTSA Regulation on Driver Distraction

‘It is only the beginning!’

‘Some items are vague, others are unrealistic. It will not solve the

problem, only create additional hurdles.’

‘The latest NHTSA regulation is the reverse-camera mandate. No

effects on distraction. Others like "texting while driving bans" may

prevent some - but not all - distraction issues.’

‘Same effects as the alcohol prohibition of 1920´s - It will make

people use smart devices even more while driving‘
