2 Policy Scope This document scope covers the management of car parking facilities for all staff, visitors and patients.

3 Aim of the policy

The aim of the policy is to describe the car parking arrangements and how the limited car parking resource is managed for all staff, visitors and patients.

4 Duties – roles and responsibility Director of Estates and Facilities The Director of Estates and Facilities has overall responsibility for effective management of the car parking facilities. All staff All staff have a responsibility to comply with the requirements of this policy. In addition all staff have a responsibility to ensure that they make the Facilities office aware of any changes in their personal circumstances which affect their deductions or the authorisations to park. For example a change in hours or pay band.

5. Definitions The following definitions are used throughout this policy.
