Dcare® amalia conquers the markets. Posi-tioning will take place first in Europe. The introduction on the US and Asian markets is planned in a subsequent step.

Sales will occur through the existing sales network. Since obtaining the required certi-fications will take more time in some coun-tries, there will be certain temporary limita-tions on the Asian market.

THE NEW Dcare® amalia 9 P S4

This new reading and care light meets fully the changing requirements that can be found in retirement homes and care facili-ties, as well as in clinics and hospitals.

Sick people have immense care require-ments. In addition, elderly people gener-ally also suffer from age-related vision and perception problems. Good lighting is the prerequisite for the rehabilitation meas-ures of the nursing staff and for allowing the seniors to live as independently as possible.

Together with a professional global con-cept, light influences the whole atmos-phere of a room. Dimensions, colours and materials show their individual effects. This way, good light enhances the qual-ity of life, the physical and mental vitality and thus reduces the overall care require-ments.

LIGHT INTENSITY - 3 LEDs reaching an illumination of 1000lx/0.5m, provide for an exceptionally high light intensity.

POSITIONING - Its very mobile flexible arm gives the Dcare® amalia a great range of movement and makes it very easy to position.

EASE OF USE - The strong handle pro-vides for an ideal ease of use. The back-lighted ON/ OFF sensor located on the handle is easy to find for switching on the reading light. The amber-coloured LED night light can also be operated with a sensor.

TURNOVER SYSTEM - The turnover axis offers furthermore the possibility to turn the head of the luminaire end-lessly by 360 degrees.

LIGHT QUALITY - A very homogene-ous light distribution and the unlimited movement possibility of the head of the luminaire guarantee the freedom of glare. No disturbing harsh shadows or refl exions are generated.

LIGHTING COMFORT. SIMPLY MORE.

DESIGN - Dcare® amalia combines high-est-level lighting quality and contem-porary home design. This meets the requirements of today’s customers.

DURABILITY - The sturdy construction guarantees a solid and long-lasting op-eration for the user. CERTIFICATION - In Europe, this lumi-naire fulfi lls the requirements for rooms used for medical purposes and for hos-pitals.

SAFETY - Thanks to the new LED tech-nology and to the perfect general de-sign, this luminaire develops no heat on its front side. There is no risk of injury or fi re for the user.

SERVICE - Maintenance is taken in charge by Waldmann and Derungs. New design variants of the light shade can be exchanged without any problem on site.

CLEANING - The closed structure and a smooth surface ensure a quick and hygienic cleaning, while any penetration of dust, dirt or liquids is prevented. Use exclusively detergents complying with the regulations.

LIFETIME - The maintenance of the new LED technology is particularly custom-er-friendly. Thanks to the long lifetime of the LEDs (30,000 hours), no light source replacement is necessary.
