Career Days 2014 Winter/Summer
It was a pleasure to welcome respected industry professionals on campus at IMI University
Centre for our 2014 Winter/Spring Career Days. Many thanks for the industry knowledge
and information passed on to our students during the Career Days. Apart from allowing
students to secure internships, management trainings and jobs, the Career Days are an
excellent platform to complement the academic programmes at IMI by incorporating the
industry perspective. Guest lecturers from the industry as well as site visits also increase
the exposure our students can get during their studies.
We look forward to your participation in our next Career Days in 2014, which will be held
from August to November 2014. Please do contact me if you are interested in participating.
Thank you and best regards,

Testimonials from IMI Students
IMI Career Days gave me the
opportunity to find out more about
the different opportunities available
within the Industry. I had the golden
opportunity to interact with different
employers and eventually I found a
job at Hilton.
Adrian Birisiu, 2014 BA Degree

The Career Days are very helpful, I
found many things essential. As a result
of the Career Days at IMI, I managed to
meet BSG and will be heading to Florida,
USA for my next internship.
Kiara Sim, 2014 BA Degree Student
Hyatt Hotels were represented at
the Winter/Sping Career Days at IMI
and it was the best career day
presentation I attended, it had a lot
of essential information about Hyatt.
Legha Ebrahimi, 2014 MBA
Degree Student
The day St Regis came to IMI Career
days, I was not expecting to get
something. I liked the presentation, it
looked like a nice hotel. I had an
interview and I got an internship right
here in my school. The best part is I did
not have to go all the way to to America
to get this placement.
Marcelo Antunes, 2014 BA Degree
Student
The Career Day by Kempinski held in Münich was very
unique. In terms of meeting industry professionals and
other hospitality students, gave me opportunties to
explore different hotels and be interviewed on the
spot. It was quite simple to find the information you
need first hand.
Robert Kukulis, 2014 BA Degree Student
Testimonials by IMI Students
The presentation by Placement International alongside St
Regis Aspen was amazing, I applied for an internship and
was actually offered a Management Training position! I
am delighted to be going to Aspen for the excellent
opportunity it presents for my future.
Claudia Chin, 2014 BA Degree Student
I found the Career Day when Sandals Beaches and
resorts visited IMI interesting. The Career Day
provided me the opportunity to get an internship
outside Switzerland, Sandals has made it so much
easier for us to start our careers when we have no
experience.
Ryan Lim, 2014 BA Degree Student
The Career Day presentation by FRHI was in my opinion the best, they
were more informative than other organisations who attended the career
days, FRHI were clear about the positions they offered and were really
upfront about what they were going to provide; they also gave students in
attendance useful gifts.
