He said, “Youth is a period of being young and the youth age is a constant struggle” therefore we must be very careful because this is a very sensitive age in life. He also defined success as the achievement of set goals. I agree with John L Mason who defined goals as “a dream with a definite deadline”. Fashion out your life to achieve your slated goal and always remember that your life is an essay written by you and read by the public. Bar. Obinatu, illustrated some success factors of which the FEAR OF GOD is the first. This entails that God directs and we follow. If we do not have a stable relationship with Him, how will we hear Him? Its only when you hear God, that you can sincerely fear him. God must be the governor of your life; he must be involved in every detail of your life including your CAREER. Do you take decisions based on your frivolities, or do you listen and wait on God? Read Prov 1:7. The story of Joseph in Potipher’s house illustrates better the gains of letting go and letting God have his way and a trial will convince you. The second factor is OBEDIENCE and DISCIPLINE. You must be obedient, in order to be successful in life. Any obedient person will easily be promoted because God honours the humble and resists the proud. Discipline is paramount because it defines your action. Next on the list is SUBMISSION TO CORRECTION . This is very difficult but yet important. Submission makes you open to the good side of life, because it humbles a man and make you prone to blessings. We need God to Pull these words and make it flesh in our daily lives. The fourth factor is HARDWORK, climbing the ladder of success with your hands in your pocket is IMPOSSIBLE. If you want to be reckoned with the best, you must do your best, move ahead of others and go extra miles to be an authority in your field. You can’t give what you don’t have, we must learn to be industrious and leave TELEVISION alone. The fifth is being INSISTENT and CONSISTENT ; always stand by what you say. (DONT forget Daddy G.O’s message Integrity). We must not forget HUMILITY as a factor because it is a springboard for success. Lastly, DREAM FOR LEGACY , vision ROCKS, and please keep it alive. Keep your mind busy, and write down every idea that comes to your mind, you could be the saviour of our ailing society, you never can tell. Never underestimate an IDEA. Live for your dream, work for something and don’t live for nothing.

CAREER IS FOUNDATIONAL (PART ONE)

Last week was very delightful in the Youth Fellowship, as we witnessed the delightful presence of Barrister Ken Obinatu who spoke extensively on the issue of career in relation toyouth development and success. He said, “Youth is a period of being young and the youthage is a constant struggle” therefore we must be very careful because this is a very sensitiveage in life. He also defined success as the achievement of set goals. I agree with John LMason who defined goals as “a dream with a definite deadline”. Fashion out your life toachieve your slated goal and always remember that your life is an essay written by you andread by the public.

Bar. Obinatu, illustrated some success factors of which the FEAR OF GOD is the first. Thisentails that God directs and we follow. If we do not have a stable relationship with Him, howwill we hear Him? Its only when you hear God, that you can sincerely fear him. God must be

the governor of your life; he must be involved in every detail of your life including your CAREER. Do you take decisions based on your frivolities, or do you listen and wait on God?Read Prov 1:7. The story of Joseph in Potipher’s house illustrates better the gains of lettinggo and letting God have his way and a trial will convince you. The second factor isOBEDIENCE and DISCIPLINE. You must be obedient, in order to be successful in life.Any obedient person will easily be promoted because God honours the humble and resists the

proud. Discipline is paramount because it defines your action.

Next on the list is SUBMISSION TO CORRECTION . This is very difficult but yetimportant. Submission makes you open to the good side of life, because it humbles a man and

make you prone to blessings. We need God to Pull these words and make it flesh in our dailylives. The fourth factor is HARDWORK, climbing the ladder of success with your hands inyour pocket is IMPOSSIBLE. If you want to be reckoned with the best, you must do your

best, move ahead of others and go extra miles to be an authority in your field. You can’t givewhat you don’t have, we must learn to be industrious and leave TELEVISION alone.
