o Obtain a position as a ASCP board certified Medical Laboratory Technician

o Pursue a Medical Laboratory Scientist bachelor degree in science

o Further my education studing Molecular biology

o Earn a certification Molecular Biology technologist ASCP BOC

o Work alongside pathologists in research/ hospital based facility

PERSONAL GOALS TO ACHIEVE PROFESSIONAL GOAL

o Quite being my own worst’s enemy-believing myself more-know that I can do anything

o Become more spiritual, mentally and physically fit

o Consistently improve my personal relationships with my loved ones and close friends

o Consistently improve my interpersonal and communication skills, as well as my critical thinking skills within my educational coursework and within the workplace environment

o Be more consistence with saving money, especially towards retirement, investing 20% of my earnings

• To graduate in May of 2016 with my Associated Degree of Applied Science

• To continue my education and pursue a Clinical/Medical Laboratory Scientist's baccalaureate degree emphasizing on Molecular Biology in a accredited College/Hospital based facility

• To sit for the American Society for Clinical Pathologists certification exam to earn the Molecular Biology MB(ASCP)

• To finish up clinical rotation with a good working understanding of the various clinical areas.

• To obtain a position as a generalist MLT professional at a local hospital, clinical, reference lab and or urgent care facility.

• To sit for the ASCP BOC exam and pass first time within three months of graduating the MLT program.

• Maintain BOC maintenance certification

oTo become a educator/ lecturer in the field of Molecular Biology

oTo become a active working board member of the Pheo-Para Troopers Alliance and become a knowledgeable active board member that works with specialized physicians and educators for a, “Rare Diseases” condition known as Pheocromoctyoma and Paraganglioma and their genetic mutations as well as other medical maladies that are associated with these conditions.
