About my job

My job - So why is it important?

Despite 80 years of state sponsored social services and 60 years of welfare state services, social problems have not diminished significantly

A ‘mega trend’ away from value based social services and towards knowledge/evidence based social services

A clear political demand for services that ‘work’

Inherent in the structural reform of 2007 a risk of de-specialization within the social services
