• Around 50,000 a year and that is just starting out a seasoned chef can earn more then 100,000 a year depending on were you work.

Amount of education

• To be a head chef it takes 4 years of culinary school plus you need at least 2 years of job experience.

• Yes. A chef’s job is in high demand for the 2009-2010 year and is excepted to be needed for years to come.
