GENEVA, Switz. - The Ministry of Health and Sports in France has officially named Carestream Health as anapproved host for personal health data and the first medical imaging company to receive accreditation.

A cost-effective computed radiography (CR)/mini-picture archiving and communications system (PACS) hasbeen suitably designed for both the imaging needs and budgets of clinics and physicians’ offices. Thesystem combines selected models of CR systems with PACS software that can run on a variety of personalcomputer (PC)-based workstations. Use of standard PCs helps lower costs and delivers greater flexibility forusers.

The Image Suite, developed by Carestream Health, Inc. Carestream Health India announced the upgrade of the radiography diagnostic unit at Mumbai’s leading hospital– the Breach Candy Hospital, with the installation of the latest digital radiography system –the DRX-1, world’sfirst wireless DR Detector. 50 nuevos empleos

La compañía Carestream Health, uno de los líderes mundiales en productos de imagen avanzada, servicios ysoluciones de IT para las profesiones médicas y dentales, pretende invertir durante este año alrededor decinco millones de dólares y generar alrededor de 50 nuevos empleos en su planta de esta ciudad, anunció sudirector general, Alberto Caballero Brousset.

“Continuamos con amplias expectativas de crecimiento este año, vemos al 2010 como un año derecuperación y en materia de empleo estamos por crecer en un 10 por ciento más de los que terminamosdurante el año pasado”, dijo.

Añadió que de acuerdo a las expectativas que tienen este año podrían crecer entre 6 y 9 por ciento encomparación con el año pasado, pero todo dependerá de los proyectos que se puedan concretar.
