I, Gary Snodgrass, accept the position as Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) for the Cargill, Inc. facility located in Hammond, Indiana. I understand that my duties include but may not be limited to:

Stop unsafe activities Supervise decontamination Ensure security of the materials Control disposal Interact with the NRC and other agencies as necessary Maintain records Audit the program annually Perform surveys Train personnel as necessary Investigate abnormal events

I also understand that I have been given the authority by facility management to shut down facility operations should I deem there is a health andor safety concern with the operation or use a nuclear device.

Additionally, on October S, 2010 I successfully completed the Nevada Technical Associates, Inc. ’s 40 hour technical short course entitled “Radiation Safety Officer.”
