FROM THE TEA PLANT TO TEA POT
º Tea grows best in places with warm, humid weather.
º Tea can grow into all trees, but is generally kept as a small bush so that the leaves can be harvested more easily.
º Tea bushes are grown in rows with about 1.5 metres between them. It takes at least three years before a newly planted tea bush is ready to be harvested.
º Tea leaves are picked from the very top of the plant, every weeks or so.
º The leaves are taken to a nearby factory, where they are left to dry.
º Once dry, the leaves are rolled so as to release the moisture within.
