On Saturday May 26, 2012, Abhishek
Raghuram, the renowned musical
prodigy is set to enthrall us with his
vocal rendition of Carnatic music. He is
ably accompanied by Vittal
Ramamurthy on Violin and
Trivandrum V. Balaji on Mrudangam,
masters in their own right.

disciple of Sangeetha Kala
Acharya Shri P.S. Narayanaswamy, Abhishek
Raghuram is emerging to be a defining contemporary
vocalist.
The best senior vocalist awarded to Abhishek by Music
Academy, Chennai for the 2010 music season is a fitting
tribute to a musician some critics have called “food for
intellect, mind, heart and soul”.
Abhishek hails from a family of legendary musicians
and was declared a child prodigy when he gave his first
concert at 9 years of age. He has since accumulated
many awards, recognitions and accolades.

Vittal Ramamurthy (on Vio-
lin), an internationally acclaimed
violinist, is the torchbearer and
leading disciple of the Lalgudi
bani. He is one of the most sought
-after violinists, an exceptional
soloist and renowned violin guru,
and has received numerous accolades to his merit.
An 'A' Grade artiste of the All India Radio, he has
accompanied some of the legendary Carnatic musicians
including his guru Shri Lalgudi Jayaraman, Shri M.
Balamurali Krishna, Shri Nedunuri Krishnamurthy,
Shri T.N. Seshagopalan to name a few. He has many
students around the world, many of whom are leading

Trivandrum V.Balaji (on
Mrudangam) has
established himself as one of
the most reputed and sought-
after mrudangists of our
times. Balaji had his initial
training under late Shri B.
Doraiswamy, Shri K.Krishna Iyengar, Trivandrum Shri
R. Vaidyanathan and later under the legendary vidwan
Shri Palghat Raghu. An “A” Grade artiste of the All
India Radio and recipient of several awards and laurels,
he has had the privilege of accompanying various
leading artistes such as Sangeetha Kalanidhi
Dr.N.Ramani, Shri T.V.Sankaranarayanan, Shri
O.S.Thyagarajan and others. At present, Balaji is
training several keen students in India, USA, and
Australia.
