Special Honor Bestowed on alumnus Jean Compton!Jean Compton was among three Carroll High alumni honored in April 2005by the school’s Anchor Committee, a group of faculty (including yearbooksponsor Ricky “Lady” Walraven and the late Carl Young, Jr., math teacher)who began the program about three years ago to honor professional achieve-ments of alumni. Jean was honored for her professional career contributionsin the area of script writing and communications. As the Class of 1965 awardwinner, she also had the opportunity to speak to about 200 English andHumanities students in the gym. Congratulations, Jean!
