Actions•Pushing for 13 actions/commitments
for example:
• Write a letter to the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development and the Minister of Finance advocating that they implement our proposed investments in the Post-Secondary Student Support Program.
Commitments
•Thus far out of the 86 meetings inputed into our database members secured 43 commitments.
•We suspect this number will grow, but are pleased with approximately a 50% commitment rate secured by your representatives.
Moving Forward
• CASA will follow up on all commitments ensuring MPs and Senators have the information required to make it happen
• Monitoring media to capture when the issues advocated for are mentioned and follow up
• Encourage satellite lobbying to keep the momentum going
