    • The information presented in this webinar is for use by the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education, Adult and Family Education (OSSE AFE) Providers, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act “WIOA” Core Partners and Other DC Agencies/Providers implementing the Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment System (CASAS) in the District of Columbia.

    At the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:• Identify approved CASAS assessments for reporting and

    accountability purposes in accordance with the WIOA and National Reporting System (NRS).

    • Identify the appropriate CASAS assessments to be administered to ABE and ESL students.

    • CASAS is the state-approved assessment system for OSSE AFE.

    • In addition to implementing the paper-based system, OSSE AFE has a state license for CASAS eTests and TOPSproEnterprise and makes these resources available to its sub-grantees, DC government partner agencies, adult education and workforce development providers, and other organizations in the District of Columbia.

    • NRS-approved assessment through Feb. 25, 2025o CASAS Reading GOALS for ABE/ASE (900 series)

    • NRS assessments that sunset/expire on June 30, 2019 for ABE/ASE students.
