I know you’re busy and I appreciate your time and consideration. Changing lives is important business. As chair of the 2013 campaign, I’ve had the opportunity to recruit volunteers dedicated to improving lives in this area. I’ve also learned a lot about the scope of United Way and the needs of this community.

United Way isn’t just a fundraising organization. We seek lasting change - not just a quick fix. United Way mobilizes volunteers and community resources to impact individuals, families and neighborhoods. It brings organizations together to collaborate and meet long term goals. Volunteers do the heavy lifiting -- they review program outcomes and stewardship to ensure community dollars are well spent.
