Case Study The Enoggera Creek Bridge is part of the Enoggera Creek Bikeway project. The purpose of this bridge is two-fold, firstly to provide a link to Kelvin Grove Road and secondly to complete the missing link between Spencer Park and Bancroft Park for both pedestrians and cyclists. The completion of the Enoggera Creek Bridge has enhanced connectivity to local bikeway network and has encouraged commuter and recreational walking and cycling. Brisbane City Council needed to fast track the installation time of this bridge by using light weight construction with a ready-cut, engineered decking solution. Additionally, due to the number of floods in recent years and the ongoing costs of maintenance, Brisbane City Council specifically required a 50-year lifespan on a durable decking product that could be submerged and be washed down after a flood. The robust nature of INEX>LAMIDECK 32 made it the perfect fit for this project as it was a combination of both strength and appeal. Case Study

The Enoggera Creek Bridge is part of the Enoggera Creek Bikeway project. INEX>LAMIDECK 32 achieves a P5 anti-slip rating with a specially formulated coating for the safety of pedestrians and cyclists.

INEX>LAMIDECK 32, developed and manufactured by UBIQ, is a high strength, lightweight flooring sheet, made from a revolutionary Engineered Cementitious Composite (ECC) material. It is a low carbon and environmentally friendly solution suited to support the high traffic of pedestrians and cyclists.

BICENTENNIAL BIKEWAY BRISBANE QLDINEX>LAMIDECK 32 was chosen for the structural bridge deck for the Brisbane Bicentennial Bikeway Stage 4 Upgrade Project to cater for the growing numbers of pedestrians and cyclists. A recycled rubber matting, made from a combination of Australian truck tyres and cork, was used to surface the top of INEX>LAMIDECK 32, resulting in a safe, resilient and enduring surface for both the pedestrians and cyclists.
