This solar farm, for the first time, brings significant solar power to a major UK cement works and will provide Hanson with a reduced energy bill of £10 million over its lifetime and CO2 savings of 3,420 tonnes per annum. Lark Energy has installed over 250 MWp of solar including over 800 rooftop installations – enough clean energy for 65,000 homes Manufacturing Plant 208 kWp The UK’s leading manufacturer of flooring adhesives and floor preparation products approached Lark Energy to undertake an extension to a previous installation. As the site was in constant operation, Lark Energy Commercial had to work very closely with the client on devising a safe and effective construction plan and also minimise disruption to local residents.
