aluminium brise soleil solar shading system for the project at the above site. The system supplied was the Ducosun 150 Ellipse manufactured from extruded aluminium with 150mm elliptical blades mounted between aluminium supporting arms fixed back to structural steelwork with a stainless steel supporting rod running through the blades. The corner profile was mitred to produce a seamless appearance. The system provides both solar shading as well as acting as a privacy screen for the residents who are able to look out over the harbour. The project was completed on time and on budget.
