Case Study
Blackpool Sixth Form College
Client: Blackpool Sixth Form College
Sector: Education
Description: 2013-14 prospectus, advertising and print
The challenge
The Blackpool Sixth Form College serves the Fylde and surrounding areas of Lancashire. It has around 1,900
full-time students aged between 16 and 19 taking both traditional academic subjects and modern applied
programmes. The College approached GSD® to develop prospectus, advertising and print projects.
The solution
• A ‘sharp’, colourful prospectus featuring powerful student photography.
• A flexible design that translates effectively into supporting advertising material and print.
The result
• More enquiries for course places on both the College’s academic and vocational programmes
• Raised profile as a modern, go-ahead college in tune with local needs
The applause
“GSD designed and produced our Prospectus and several other pieces of marketing material for our college. The
creativity and high standard of the designs really captured the concept of our new brand identity. GSD were
excellent to work with from concept to the high standard of the completed publications.”
