CASE STUDY: Cye Apartments

Cye Apartments bets on NAVIHOTEL for their decision making.

Cye Salou, a hotel chain consisting of three hotels which operate in

Tarragona, in the area of the Costa Daurada, became well-known

for being pioneers in the deployment of business tourism and its

contribution to local development.

SITUATION When Cye Salou got in touch with Sistemas de Gestion, they were

already in conversations at an advanced stage with other providers

of hotel management packages. However, and having seen the

attention raised by NAVIHOTEL, they mutually decided to make an

effort that would enable the evaluation of the package within a

short period of time.

During the evaluation, Cye laid out its need: One provider that

could facilitate an application for the hotel setting, with a solid

financial system, integrated on the Microsoft desktop, with a

sufficient number of facilities that could guarantee the continuity

of the system and that could be installed in the short term.

SOLUTION During the implementation of NAVIHOTEL, both Sistemas de

Gestión’s and Cye Salou’s equipment worked intensively towards

the designation of a model that would correspond with the

characteristics of the area, providing the customer experience in

the vision of the business within the area.

The ability to extract information, the easy user interface, the

capability to manage information distributed geographically and

the total integration of the modules which make up the solution,

were the reasons for which the implementation of NAVIHOTEL,

based on the well known ERP Microsoft Dynamics Navision, was

carried out.

BENEFITS Today, their three establishments are wholly controlled from the

Central Offices, receiving operative results immediately through a

complete communication network based on RSDI lines and

Microsoft Terminal Server. NAVIHOTEL has built more than an

informatics system: it has built a complete System of Information

that allows the making of correct decisions despite the geographic

dispersion of their establishments.

Cye has a sturdy system that ensures high availability at the same

time as it integrates corporate information with desktop tools,

allowing them to make fast decisions with reference to the

evolution of markets.

They have ensured technologic renewal through the increase in

functionalities provided by Microsoft Dynamics Navision and

Sistemas de Gestion.
