CASE STUDY: Grupotel

Grupotel tells us the reasons why they have chosen “Sistemas de

Grupotel, fully under complete expansion, is one of the most

important hotel chains in the Balearic Islands and counts with 39

first quality hotel establishments in Majorca, Minorca and Ibiza,

and with more than 30 years of experience in the tourism sector.

SITUATION Due to the complexity involved in the management of a hotel chain

of this kind and because of the geographic dispersion of the hotels,

they required an integrated system of information that could offer

them a complete solution for their day to day administration as

well as for the consolidation of processes and information from the

headquarters of Grupotel.

SOLUTION Navihotel provided Grupotel with full integration of the different

aspects of their management, as well as the required agility in

decision-making through the consolidation of information in its

financial headquarters. They were given control of all aspects of

production from their multiple hotels, such as the management of

reservations, occupancy data, centralization of purchases,

accounting and financial management, quality management,

management of POS, etc.

BENEFITS Thanks to the versatility and ease of use provided by a user

interface 100% compliant with the standards of Microsoft, an agile

uptake was achieved by the system users of Grupotel, allowing

them to benefit immediately from an integrated system that gave

them incredible agility when it came to exploiting and analyzing

information from the system.

At present the implantation of Navihotel has been successfully

completed in 26 of its hotels, as well as in their financial

headquarters, where information merges into a centralized data
