This is why we have put enormous emphasis on training and our quality plan. We needed a franchise software that could help us maintain that focus as we expanded.”

Björn Bjelkenstedt and his team did their research and discovered Chainformation, a company that specializes in Franchise Software and Franchise Intranets that help drive compliance and knowledge across the franchise network. How the implementation was doneIn rolling out CCM with ABC-Ställningar, Chainformation was committed to designing, testing and implementing CCM with minimal disruptions to the daily business.

Chainformation’s team of professionals were involved in all aspects of project delivery, including a requirements-gathering workshop. Once the functional design was in place, the team worked quickly to get the CCM-platform and franchise intranet in place.

The requirements of the scaffolding services industry presented Chainformation with some unique challenges in formulating the online operations manual.

Rather than relying on a text-heavy manual that collects dust in a book shelf, Chainformation recommended that ABC-Ställningar to develop their operations manual using WorkMap™, a proprietary methodology that results in better operations manuals that require less administration at lower cost.

By using WorkMap™, a franchisor is typically able to reduce the volume of an existing manual by between 35-45%. At the same time, Chainformation estimates that it is able to increase usability and focus by as much for its clients.

Accessible directly through Chainformation’s cloud based franchise software, the manual is easier to read and apply in the workplace.

Mission accomplishedThe implementation of the CCM platform went extremely fast. Chainformation integrated the franchise software with an ERP-system and had the system in place in less than two weeks.

Every franchisee now has one single point of entry from which it can access operations manuals, training, communicate and cross-collaborate, while also receiving updates and news from the head office.

By having a common view, every franchisee will be more empowered to act, communicate and build the business with confidence. For the head office, having a proper franchise software platform in place ensures a maintained focus on safety, and depending less on e-mail.
